- Serve on, and actively participate in, the Campus Library Leadership Team
- Oversee, provide leadership for, and supervise the Campus Library Access Services department including the Circulation, Reserves, and Stacks Maintenance units.
- Serve on the tri-campus Access Services Committee, a decision-making body for all of UW Libraries
- Serve as an emergency contact on evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Liaison with campus staff and faculty regarding best practices and use of their Course Management System and library collections
- Provide guidance on, and make decisions about, copyright and Fair Use evaluations at the Campus Library
Access Services Manager (December 2009 – present)

- Provide overall management and leadership for Access Services department; evaluate current policies and systems and initiate new directions and procedures for the department;
- Liaison with Leadership Team in decision-making and strategic directions for the library and department
- Hire and supervise circulation classified staff members and student employees
- Develop and perform departmental training protocol, tools, and activities
- Create and maintain comprehensive policy, procedural and training documentation for public service desk
- Develop assessment tools and analyze results to inform staffing, service models, and budget requests for the department

- Liaison with the UWB Disability Resources for Students office and the CC Disability Support Services office to ensure library services are accessible and library staff are kept informed of campus services and issues
- Serve on the library’s Equity, Diversity and Social Justice (EDSJ) Team to conduct trainings and facilitate sustained and sustainable discussions among library personnel and the campus community to develop cultural competencies
- Serve on the library’s Public Services Team to support and serve public services staff in all aspects of their jobs including the development and implantation of trainings, feedback mechanisms, and documentation
- Develop and maintain signage, publications, and web resources for the library
- Represent the library by participating in employee searches across campus as well as library positions
- Participate in monthly librarian meetings as a EDSJ member, Manager/Supervisor, and representative of the Access Services department
- Participate in librarians email discussion list and provide consultation to the group
- Coordinate with leadership in Academic Services to provide students seamless service across the UWB campus, including curriculum development for quarterly training sessions
- Coordinate with Cascadia College Information Technology staff and other leadership to ensure timely and continued library access for Cascadia students, staff, and faculty
